Thai Yoga massage does not use oil  and is performed on a comfortable floor mat with loose comfortable clothing. Once performed by monks, Thai Yoga Massage blends the the ancient healing traditions of Ayurveda, Yoga and Thai Buddhism.  NUAD BO-RARN (Ancient Thai Massage) is a unique form of body therapy that incorporates Ayurveda, Yoga, and compassion with acupressure to stretch the muscles and open the joints. This safe holistic treatment harmonizes the body, increases energy, relieves stress and promotes a peaceful mind. The foundational Thai Yoga massage I offer covers Front Position (feet to face), clearing and opening the body’s energy lines (SEN), stretches, acupressure points, and proper use of my thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet to help you release tension and increase the flow of energy.

Thai Yoga Massage stimulates the body’s own natural healing potential, restoring balance, health and harmony while providing a deeply relaxing and rewarding experience. In Thailand, this massage technique is seen as a form of preventative medicine. Thai Yoga Massage is relaxing and stimulating for the mind as well as the body and recipients are often able to think more clearly afterwards and feel a profound sense of well being.

“Thai Massage is like a thousand gentle waves washing over the body.  Thai massage is like yoga for lazy people. Instead of doing yoga, they do it for you.”
-Chongkol Setthakorn, Founder of ITM,  (where I study)
