Imagine what it look and feel like to have a pleasant and ordinary experience with someone whom you have had difficulty with in the past. Picture yourself doing something that feels good, like a gentle walk in nature or having some tea. In this visualization, imagine this person as someone you’re comfortable with, as a friend. As you move forward out of this meditation, you will have shared a pleasant experience. In the future, you will have new options to draw from as you move forward in relationship or on your own.
