ACR

October tends to be a beautiful month in Colorado. ACR is located on 400 private acres in the Rocky Mountains alongside the North Fork River, less than one mile from the Arapahoe National Forest.  The seclusion and natural beauty of ACR offers guests a chance to experience quintessential Colorado. During the weekend there is ample time for rest and for you to choose your own activities.

Here’s what’s included: accommodations, 6 meals, daily yoga classes and guided meditation with Jane Lanza, (1) 60-minute Swedish or Thai Yoga massage, a sunrise walk to identify medicinal herbs growing wild and a later class to create salves and tinctures (led by Amanda Young), Yoga Nidra, and an optional Guided plant spirit journey meditation with self-Reiki tools for optimal healing.  We provide plentiful opportunities for time in nature, to unwind in the hot tubs, and meet friends at the Lodge.

Choose from a tent or an RV site, a one bedroom cabin, the Cliff House or the River House. The cabins include private outdoor private deck areas, refrigerators, premium linens and river-rock gas fireplaces. The houses are nicely prepared and include complete kitchens. MORE INFO from budandbreakfast.com:

Many tourists are surprised to learn that though recreational marijuana use is legal in Colorado, public consumption is illegal. Most hotels do not allow cannabis consumption. If they do, it’s in accordance with the Colorado Clean Air Act which states that 75 percent of rooms must be smoke-free, and smoking in public areas is prohibited. But thanks to its small number of rooms and secluded mountainside location, ACR is able to allow marijuana consumption in all public areas. For safety reasons, the resort does not allow smoking inside cabins and encourages guests to experience the communal vibe in one of many public areas (including the hot tubs, riverside, smoking lounge, bonfire, activities room, restaurant and walking trails). Each guest has access to a private deck where smoking is also allowed. Read more
