Signing on last minute to manage the Box Office at Frendly Gathering was one of the best decisions I’ve made this summer. I love the vibe at this homegrown VT event created by Burton riders, Danny Davis and Jack Mitrani. Frendly crushed it. I’ve never been so busy and loved every minute. This was the most successful year to date.
I was impressed with the Woods Stage (made from a teepee), the Pond Parties, the human-sized nests made up in the trees for chilling and DJ sets, the music, the kindness among strangers and the skateboard half-pipe they brought in for people to play.
I’m stoked to join an amazing crew: Peter Gross, Patrick William, Liam Griffin, Brett Bold, Annie Beiner, Mary Bog, James Griffiths, Tripp Haenn, Oliver Fischer,Ted Croft, Ali Kaukas and many more. Special thanks to #DannyDavis, #JackMitrani.
“The Frendly Manifesto: We strive to be curators within a community of people who believe in cultivating lasting frendships in an effort to foster collaborative success and rid future generations of exclusivity. We live during a time in which we have the resources to create a “we” generation strong enough to prevail over a “me” mentality. This gives us an incredible opportunity to develop a tangible environment of kindness, generosity, and respect. Historically we used our sport and collective ethos to unite a diverse group of athletes. Within just a few years it became clear that this Frendly movement was meant to transform the lives of people around the world.”
